Call for Abstracts

POA2022 calls for abstracts for a general session and e-posters. Awards will be given for the best abstracts. Abstracts must be original and unpublished work.

Latest research results (clinical/basic) for atherosclerosis, vascular function, hypertension or heart failure are welcomed.

Important dates

Submission opening: Friday, April 1st, 2022

Submission deadline: Wednesday, April 27th, 2022 [EXTENDED TO: May 4th, 2022]

Acceptance notification to submitters: Tuesday, May 10th, 2022

Submission guidelines

Aplicant eligibility

  • All researchers who are interested in the theme ‘Hypertension and Vascular Research Toward Zero Event in Asia’ are eligible for submitting or registering the POA2022.

Abstract  preparation

  • Abstracts must be original and unpublished work.

  • Latest research results (clinical/basic) for atherosclerosis, vascular function, hypertension or heart failure are welcomed.

  • All applicants are required to submit an abstract in English

  • Word counts are limited to 180 characters for the title and 300 words for the body.

  • Figures and tables are not acceptable.

  • If your abstract is not accepted for oral presentations, it will be considered for e-Posters display on the congress website.

  • COI disclosure: All authors are required to disclose any financial relationship (within the past 36 months) with commercial entities that related to the subject matter of the abstract.

Abstract submission

  • The abstract can be uploaded via the on-line abstract entry form.

  • You cannot save the post as a draft. If you would like to edit the submitted manuscript, please contact to secretariat.

  • Once abstract submission has been completed, a confirmation email will be sent to corresponding author later.

After submission

  • Acceptance notification will be made to a corresponding author by Tuesday,  May 10th, 2022.

  • As all correspondences will be sent to the corresponding author’s email address, please ensure that the email address you filled in the submission system is correct.

  • A presenter or 1st author of the accepted manuscript (both oral or e-posters) is requested to make a registration. Registration fee is 20 United States Dollar per person for 35 years or older. Without registration, abstracts will not be scheduled in the program or displayed on the website.
